Some findings so far

A woman, who works as prostitute, with her lips sewn together attends a protest in El Alto in the outskirts of La Paz, June 15, 2011.
Catholic nuns release dove-shaped balloons during a mass for peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula at Imjingak Peace Park in Paju, near the demilitarised zone separating North Korea from South Korea, June 17, 2011

These are just a few random photographs I found online from TotallyCoolPix.com Instead of them floating about on my laptop its probably a whole load safer if I keep a copy here.

I find the first one rather inspirational for its content. But also the human ability to sew your lips. Its something so squeemish to me but I know many people have done it, Will do it and have sewen other bodyparts and limbs together. I really want to find out why they were protesting.

The second image seems rather surreal but beautiful at the same time. Rather like the idea of these dove shaped balloons and what they could symbolise and the wierd material v.s imagery. Plastic pretend doves type thing :p
