Busy busy me

Yes It's been a hectic wee while with the end of one exhibition and the startings of another.

Currently in the 3space unit, which is now officially the "falkirk community unit" as of a meeting Falkirk delivers held with the guys of 3space meaning they can now apply for funding, get a real sign, and can host alternative exhibitions than just artwork, watch the space for sci-fi awesomesauce.

The latest artwork on display is by Tracy and Jaya. Both talented ladies with a diverse range of skills.

Mon' the pictures!

(my apologies for the poor quality of images, my good camera is damaged and I'm reduced to using my phone for now)

The first three images are by Jaya, and the last is by Tracy.

Going well

Well the free space in Falkirk is up and running. And the first exhibition of the year is going down a treat. With fantastic artwork by Franz and Anne. People have been flooding in to view the work and give their comments. The diary for the space has started filling away and I cant wait to see all the other work which is to be exhibited.

The artwork on exhibit is by the artists, Franz Grimley and Anne Nicholson. I strongly suggest you pop along for a visit of some amazing work, talent and techniques.

A small sneek peek of the work on show.

So come see the exhibition if you can. Its the Littlewoods unit on the Falkirk High Street just up from Lint Riggs and next to The Works. The Unit is open from 11am to 4pm (sometimes as late as 5pm) Monday to Saturday. Ill be there when I can. And Franz and Anne have been there near every day to man the space.

You wont be dissapointed.

Poor blog, I've missed you

Well I'm super sorry blog for having neglected you for so long. It's been extremely hard to pick up the blogging habit since dropping it last August but it sadly had to happen.

A load has happened over these months, Alcudia was amazing with my boyfriend, Christmas came and went along with the new year celebrations and recently after months of job hunting I have left McDonald's and begun work for Greggs the bakers.

New year, new prospects! Other than becoming heavily addicted to a 3ds and becoming a Nintendork as some have said I've decided on a new resolution which is to become more focused on all things art.

To such an extent I've signed myself up to volunteer more for Falkirks exhibition space and offer my services in finding artists, both student and professional to get them involved and exhibit aswell.

I'm really excited about the prospects and getting stuck in there to make it all happen.

I've honestly spent too much time job hunting I've neglected everything else. But all shall change.

Regardless, I'm sorry for the mad massive gap in blogging. Normal service shall now resume.

Yours,

ScribbleMouse.
